Carlos I. Martinez B. is a partner at Romen, + 27 years of professional experience practicing private law. His work focuses on corporate transactions, mergers, acquisitions, liquidations of companies, banking law, capital markets, commercial contracts, and environmental regulations. 

He has advised companies and banks on syndicated loans and debt issuances, on asset securitizations, national and foreign companies on regulatory compliance issues, commercial contracts, foreign investment, exchange control regime and environmental regulations. He has advised the World Bank on Venezuelan regulatory issues and is regularly consulted by foreign law firms on Venezuelan legal issues.
