Rafael Tobía Díaz

Professional Experience

Rafael Tobía is an Associate at Romen with more than 19 years of professional experience. His practice focuses on tax law, advising domestic and foreign companies in litigation related to national and international taxation, particularly in the oil and gas, banking and finance, technology, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, construction, and services sectors.

Education

• Law Degree, Andrés Bello Catholic University (2003), Summa Cum Laude.
• Specialist in Tax Law, Central University of Venezuela, Caracas (2009), with Honors.

Activities

• Former Professor of Introduction to the Study of Law at Andrés Bello Catholic University (UCAB).
• Professor in the Corporate Tax Management Diploma Program at the International Center for Professional Development (CIAP) of UCAB.
• Member of the Bar Association of the Capital District (2003).
