Francisco Javier Utrera is a partner at Romen, with + 42 years of professional experience, his practice focus on advising on corporate law; international business transactions; commercial contracts; EPC contracts; financing transactions; advice on petrochemical, thermoelectric and infrastructure projects in Venezuela; advice on antitrust matters; advice on acquisitions and mergers of companies; design of patrimonial protection structures for companies and individuals; representation of international banks in oil projects; representation of private contractors in petrochemical projects developed in Venezuela related to the construction of industrial plants. He has been a consultant for Venezuelan engineering companies in IPC projects and in financed projects; he has advised different pharmaceutical laboratories, television companies, insurance companies. He has advised multilateral organizations such as CAF and the IFC; He has participated as arbitrator and lawyer in national and international arbitration processes, governed by the International Chamber of Commerce.
