Professional experience
Santos Michelena is a Partner at Romen, with + 35 years of professional experience, his practice focus on the procedural area, where he provides advice to national and foreign companies from different economic sectors, in commercial (bankruptcy) and civil litigation. He has been legal advisor to several international airlines; arbitrator of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce; member of the Arbitration Committee of the Venezuelan-American Chamber of Commerce; arbitrator of the Caracas Chamber of Commerce; arbitrator of the International Center for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). He has been appointed arbitrator for matters of precautionary measures by various chambers of commerce, for cases of a commercial nature.
